Introduction of JIS G3463 Stainless Steel Tube for Boiler and Heat Ex-changer
Our products are manufactured in strict compliance with the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS G3463, ensuring comprehensive control from raw materials to finished product. This standard targets critical thermal equipment, including boilers and heat exchangers. It demands that pipes resist high temperatures, high pressures, and corrosive conditions. Steel pipes manufactured to the JIS G3463 standard offer improved stability and accuracy. This ensures safe and reliable operation for industrial systems over the long term. Currently, it has become the preferred piping material for core projects in industries such as power, chemicals, and energy. We regularly follow this standard to deliver compliant and trustworthy material solutions to our customers.
JIS G3463 Stainless Steel Tubes for Boilers and Heat Exchangers: Standards and Positioning
JIS G3463 pipes are core pressure-bearing components in industrial thermal energy equipment. Their materials, dimensions, performance, and testing fully comply with all requirements of the Japanese standard JIS G3463:2020, “Stainless Steel Tubes for Boilers and Heat Exchangers.”
This product is also compatible with similar domestic and international standards, such as China’s GB/T 13296 and the US ASTM A213. It can directly replace imported pipes. This also fulfills the domestic upgrade needs for various equipment specifications.
This multi-standard compatibility lowers procurement and supply chain costs. It also boosts compliance and safety across regions and industries. As a result, it simplifies meeting project acceptance requirements.
Core Material Characteristics of JIS G3463 Stainless Steel Tubes
This product uses high-purity stainless steel materials such as SUS304, SUS316L, SUS321, and SUS347H. By precisely controlling carbon content and adding alloying elements such as chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, the pipe material’s resistance to intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion cracking is significantly enhanced. It remains stable in harsh environments, such as high-temperature water vapor, acid-base solutions, and sulfur-containing media. This significantly reduces the risk of equipment shutdown and maintenance costs due to corrosion.
The pipe material is treated with a precise “cold rolling + solid solution heat treatment” process. As a result, it achieves a yield strength of ≥ 205 MPa and an ultimate tensile strength of ≥ 515 MPa. This strength is maintained over a temperature range from -20℃ to 600℃. The elongation rate stays above 35%. This helps it handle high-pressure loads and temperature changes in the boiler furnace and heat exchanger shell. It avoids deformation or fractures from the thermal expansion and contraction of the pipe material.
When boilers and heat exchangers start up and shut down, the product undergoes special polishing and stress treatment. This treatment improves fatigue life by over 30%. This can effectively resist fatigue damage from frequent temperature changes. It also extends the equipment’s lifespan to 8-12 years. In contrast, conventional pipe materials last about 5-8 years.
- Eddy current testing checks for surface defects.
- Hydrostatic testing confirms pressure-bearing capacity.
Only pipes that pass the test are marked and allowed to leave the factory. We adhere to the principle of “no defective products” to ensure that every pipe delivered to you is reliable.
- YASCO provides customized production services based on customer needs. We adjust pipe specifications such as outer diameter, wall thickness, and length based on equipment drawings and operating conditions.
- We offer value-added treatments such as surface coatings (such as anti-corrosion coatings) and threading to meet the assembly requirements of non-standard equipment.
- We support quality traceability and document inspection. Each batch of products comes with a complete “Quality Certificate” that covers all aspects of the process, including raw material origin, heat-treatment records, and inspection reports.
- Customers can watch the production process on-site. This ensures transparency and traceability through visual inspection.
- We partner with top domestic logistics companies. We also provide door-to-door delivery services.
- Depending on the pipe specifications, we use protective packaging, such as wooden crates and strapping, to prevent damage during transportation.
- We maintain an ample inventory of standard specifications and can ship within 72 hours of order. Customized product delivery is limited to 15-30 days, ensuring uninterrupted project progress.
