Introduction of 317L Stainless Seamless Steel Pipe
The 317L stainless steel seamless pipe is an ultra-low-carbon, high-molybdenum austenitic stainless steel pipe. The extremely low carbon content can prevent intergranular corrosion of the pipe during welding and solution treatment. The higher molybdenum content significantly enhances the pipe’s resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking in chloride-containing media such as seawater and other saline solutions. Compared with 316L, this pipe offers better corrosion resistance and stability under high-temperature acidic conditions, such as acetic acid, sulfuric acid, and formic acid, and is widely used in pipeline projects in harsh corrosive environments, including boiler heat exchanger manufacturing, the chemical industry, seawater desalination, and paper making.

Inspection of All Dimensions
